Willeke van Ammelrooy – Actrice
Willeke van Ammelrooy, geboren als Willy Geertje van Ammelrooy, heeft een carrière opgebouwd die ruim vijf decennia omspant en haar tot een van de meest gerespecteerde Nederlandse actrices heeft gemaakt. Het was op de toneelschool dat ze haar verlegenheid overwon, en met lef en passie speelde ze in 1971 als een van de eersten in een Belgische film zonder kleding. Haar opvallende rollen in films als De Lift, Ciske de Rat, en Koko Flanel maakten haar een begrip. In 1996 ontving ze de ultieme eer: een Oscar voor haar rol in Antonia. Haar carrière is onverstoord door de jaren heen, en ze blijft een vaste waarde in de Nederlandse filmwereld, waar rollen zich nog steeds blijven aandienen.
