Taco Ockerse – Zanger
Geboren in Jakarta, reisde Taco Ockerse de wereld rond en vond zijn muzikale roeping uiteindelijk in Nederland. Zijn doorbraak kwam in 1982 met zijn moderne versie van de klassieker Puttin’ on the Ritz van Fred Astaire, die in Amerika een onverwacht groot succes werd. Hoewel latere pogingen om het geluid van de jaren ’30 te vernieuwen en zijn werk met de groep Taron X niet hetzelfde niveau van succes bereikten, bleef Taco’s naam synoniem met unieke muzikale experimenten. Nu hij bijna zeventig jaar is, blijft de hoop op een comeback in de muziekwereld een intrigerend vooruitzicht.
