Nicole Scherzinger se crió en Louisville, Kentucky, a pesar de que nació en Honolulu el 29 de junio de 1978. Ganó el Coca-Cola Classic Talent Show cuando era estudiante en una escuela secundaria de artes escénicas y también apareció en varias obras en el Teatro de Actores de Louisville. Después de eso, continuó su educación en la Universidad Estatal de Wright, donde obtuvo una licenciatura en artes teatrales.
