Love in the World of Politics: Famous Politicians and Their Better Halves
Joanna Lumley and Stephen Barlow – Together Since 1986
Iconic British actress Joanna Lumley was part of the BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous and delivered award-winning performances throughout. Without the formal training of drama school, Lumley won two BAFTA Awards, thanks to her sheer talent and captivating performances in the show. Beyond her acting skill, Lumley is also a lifelong human right and animal welfare activist.
The beautiful Patsy from Absolutely Fabulous didn’t hasn’t had any successful love ventures until she met the love of her life, Stephen Barlow. The couple married in 1981 and currently reside in East London. A conductor by profession, Stephen loves to send postcards to Lumley even when he’s with her.
They both were made for each other, as Stephen too had married before but eventually ended up being with Lumley. Despite their long age gap, the old-school duo sailed through every odd to remain together.
