Kris Kristofferson and Lisa Meyers – Together Since 1983
Another bright star of country music has to be Kris Kristofferson. Kristofferson’s American dream has taken him from the rank of army ranger to the glamorous world of Hollywood. For his lifelong contribution to country music, Kristofferson has been inducted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame as well as the Country Music Hall of Fame.
One of the pioneers of outlaw country music, Kristofferson, has also ventured into acting and received one Golden Globe. He encountered Meyers when he was at his lowest, going through a tough time. He was just separated from Rita Coolidge at that time and was afraid of entering into another relationship.
But it didn’t take long as the lovebirds decided to get married a year later. Heaven’s Gate’s star was able to successfully revive his career after marriage, garnering a huge net worth for his wife and children.
