Photographer Sets Up To Capture A Lioness Eating An Antelope In The Wild—But Was Met With A Mind-Blowing Phenomenon Instead!
It’s Feeding Time
Lions eat a wide range of creatures, from mice to hippos, although they primarily target medium- to large-sized hoofed mammals like zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes. Sometimes, their preferences for prey, as well as those of nearby prides differ. Lions can also feed on elephants and giraffes but only if the animal is young or wounded.
They will gladly consume any flesh they come upon, including carrion and freshly killed animals that they scavenge or forcibly take from hyenas, cheetahs, or wild dogs. Our little animal’s little time on the earth seemed to be over as it struggled to shift away while the lioness opened his mouth wider.
