Photographer Sets Up To Capture A Lioness Eating An Antelope In The Wild—But Was Met With A Mind-Blowing Phenomenon Instead!
A Determined Lioness
The lioness seemed to enjoy the antelope’s pitiful struggle to run and was just looking at him with her mouth hanging open before she simply took up the young animal and put him back in her mouth. Wildlife specialists claim that lions and other big cats can be remarkably kind when engaging in play with young, helpless prey, he said, but only as a means of preserving the animal and extending the cat-and-mouse game.
Could this be the young antelope’s end? The lioness had no intention of letting it leave. The photographer noticed the lioness had returned to the bushes and was moving again a short while later.
