And it is at this point that the photographer witnessed something that took him by surprise and left him speechless. Of course, he’d seen documentaries, as we talked about earlier, where lionesses take care of other animals’ young ones.
It has been documented by a number of films and wildlife photographers. He had seen one in which a lioness at a sanctuary was responsible for the care of leopard cubs and suckling the little one. As much as he’d like to believe that that was the situation here, he also thought that it couldn’t be. After all, this is in the wild.
