DIE SCHULBÜCHER SIND NOCH DA
Jetzt, da niemand mehr die gespenstisch aussehenden Klassenzimmer betritt, sehen die Schulbücher, die seit der Katastrophe dort verblieben sind, zerzaust und vermodert aus. Es mag zwar seltsam erscheinen, Bücher in diesem ungepflegten Zustand vorzufinden, aber die Realität trifft einen in diesem Fall hart. Sie sehen genauso aus wie damals, als das Leben für die Bewohner einer Stadt, die die größte Katastrophe nicht kommen sah, völlig zum Stillstand kam. Zum Zeitpunkt des katastrophalen Atomunfalls befanden sich etwa 5.000 Schüler im Kindergarten und der Vorschule sowie 6.786 in der Sekundarstufe, obwohl wir noch nicht wissen, wie viele von ihnen zu diesem Zeitpunkt eine Hochschule besuchten.
