Niestety, rok po ślubie codzienność pary nie zmieniła się znacząco. Danny w pełni cieszył się smacznym jedzeniem i siedzącym trybem życia przed telewizorem, nie szukając niczego więcej. Lexi jednak pragnęła czegoś więcej od swojego małżeństwa. Miała świadomość, że jest jeszcze młoda i że nie musi porzucać swoich marzeń, jeśli tylko zdecyduje się na właściwe działania. Zyskała nową energię, opracowała plan i wyznaczyła konkretne cele. Chęć zmiany to jedno, ale konsekwentna praca nad ich realizacją to zupełnie inna sprawa. Pod koniec 2016 roku Lexi była gotowa, aby rozpocząć zdrowszy tryb życia. Wiedziała jednak, że osiągnięcie sukcesu będzie znacznie łatwiejsze, jeśli będzie mogła liczyć na wsparcie oddanego męża.
