ANTON CORBIJN – REGISSEUR – 69 JAAR OUD
Anton Corbijn’s eerste stap naar artistieke faam werd gezet toen hij een optreden van de rebelse muzikant Herman Brood fotografeerde. Dit bleek het begin van een indrukwekkende carrière waarin Corbijn zijn stempel drukte op de visuele cultuur rondom de muziekindustrie. Zijn unieke stijl leidde hem van concertfotografie naar het regisseren van baanbrekende videoclips en het ontwerpen van concertdecors voor grote bands zoals Depeche Mode en U2. Later breidde hij zijn talenten uit naar de filmwereld, waar hij als regisseur eveneens lof oogstte. Hoewel Corbijn de leeftijd nadert waarop velen het rustiger aandoen, blijft hij zichzelf uitdagen met nieuwe creatieve projecten en blijft hij een onmiskenbare kracht in de wereld van beeld en film.
