CAREL STRUYCKEN – ACTEUR – 76 JAAR OUD
Carel Struycken, geboren op het zonnige Curaçao, begon zijn carrière ver van de glitter en glamour van Hollywood. Aanvankelijk droomde hij ervan regisseur te worden, maar het lot had andere plannen voor hem. Dankzij zijn unieke voorkomen vond Struycken zijn weg naar het witte doek, waar hij wereldwijd bekend werd door zijn iconische rol als Lurch in “The Addams Family”. Met een indrukwekkende filmografie die tientallen jaren beslaat, blijft Struycken een vaste waarde in de filmindustrie, zowel in Nederland als daarbuiten. Zelfs na zijn zeventigste weet hij met zijn indrukwekkende verschijning en acteertalent menig film- en televisiekijker te fascineren.
