Lorsque quelque chose a finalement accepté l’appât, Brodie Brooks a été surpris, mais il a eu du mal à maintenir la perche. Il était convaincu que ce serait une prise fantastique, mais il n’a même pas envisagé la possibilité qu’il ramènerait autre chose que du poisson.
“Parce qu’il poussait ma canne de haut en bas, j’avais l’impression que c’était un poisson assez gros. Du coup, j’avais peur de casser ma canne.” Le jeune homme travaillant pour ABC News a commenté : “J’avais peur que la ligne se casse.”
