The Gulf of Motorcycles is always exciting for anyone who loves two-wheeled rides. In 2013, motorcycle manufacturer Lauge Jensen unveiled the most expensive motorcycle made of gold. Where better to launch it than in Dubai, where the population is obsessed with style and glamor, and everyone looks to stand out?
The motorcycle, named Goldfinger, doesn’t feature any unique high-tech details or a more powerful engine. However, it comes plated with 24-karat gold and covered with 250 small diamonds, totaling more than 7 carats. That is more of the style that Dubai is so fond of; no wonder it sold for a record $850K.
