Golden Cupcake Sheet
Everything unique in Dubai seems to be made of gold. While it’s not something we’d expect to see, it was only a matter of time before they started wrapping food in gold, which they did. The first experiment was done by the Dubai Mall, known for defying all logic and exceeding expectations.
This meal is the Golden Phoenix cupcake made with Italian cocoa, which is nothing special compared to the wrapping, a 23-carat sheet. The sheet raises the price to $1k; customers can only order it 48 hours in advance. We wonder how long it takes before they start lining the streets with gold.
