The Burj Khalifa
When it comes to architecture, Dubai is one city that doesn’t hold back. With some stunningly tall architecture designed with the latest technologies, there’s every reason for it to be one of the best places to visit. In 2010, they added another landmark to the extensive list when the Burj Khalifa opened to the public.
The building broke several records, becoming the tallest building in the world at 829.8 meters. And while it took five years and $2 billion to complete, it’s definitely a worthy investment of time and money. It was also built with a Y-shape, which is handy considering the strong winds from the desert.
