LES GÉNÉRATIONS FUTURES FONT ENCORE LES FRAIS DE CETTE TRAGÉDIE
L’exposition aux éléments radioactifs après l’incident de Tchernobyl a entraîné la perte de plusieurs vies humaines à long terme. La plupart de ces victimes ont surtout eu un problème de thyroïde, et ce à un seuil de gravité dix fois plus important que ce qui peut être observé en temps normal à ce titre.
Le fait que bon nombre de ces personnes aient fondé une famille de leur vivant implique en outre qu’il y a toute une génération affectée par un problème sévère à la thyroïde. Des malformations congénitales apparaissent aussi très souvent chez les enfants nées de la génération Tchernobyl.
