The nuclear ghost town of Pripyat before the downfall of the Soviet Union has caught the fancy of many a director and thus both Pripyat and Chernobyl have turned to be favorites with the filmmakers. Chernobyl Diaries, a 2012 horror flick, had chosen Pripyat as a perfect setting, and the film deals with a group of tourists who get stranded at that place and comes across mutant monsters. Live Free Die Hard and Transformers: Dark of the Moon showcases the nuclear site of Chernobyl. We guess the actors and directors might have carried their accident lawyer along while shooting for the films.
