35 Years After The Chernobyl Disaster – This Is What It Looks Like Today
The Horrific Effects on Children
In the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster, it was found that children were the worst-hit and the radiation from the explosion had lethal effects on their health. Chernobyl Children International, a non-profit organization, got support from the United Nations. The CCI helps families who are financially and mentally affected and furnish medical and humanitarian help to victims. This has been a welcome move and is receiving monetary support from all corners of the world. Adi Roche, an Irishman, has laid the foundation stone of this organization and we believe more people like him must come forward and lend a helping hand.
