Despite the presence of concrete, trees and other flora have found no difficulty whatsoever in sprouting and growing. Well, this might be good news that Mother Nature is making its way forward, but the possibility of forest fires is at the back of our minds. Especially during the dry seasons, forests that have fallen prey to radioactivity stands vulnerable to such a mishap and there remains a risk of radioactivity spreading beyond the exclusion zone.
