35 Years After The Chernobyl Disaster – This Is What It Looks Like Today
The Grave of Valery Khodemchuck
Valery worked as a circulating pump operator at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and he met his fate in the blast that took place at reactor four. Today, his body lies entombed inside reactor four and is a place to visit for tourists. Khodemchuck was one of those individuals who sacrificed their lives on that fateful day and people, hopefully, would never forget the way he had to leave this mortal earth. He could have lived a life of happiness and good health, but he chose to sacrifice his life for the greater good. May his soul rest in peace forever.
