USS Blue Ridge LCC-19
The USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19) is the flagship of the Blue Ridge-class amphibious command ships and is designed for large-scale naval operations. Serving as the command center for the U.S. Seventh Fleet, its mission is focused on support. As such, it provides vital command, control, intelligence, and communication capabilities to fleet commanders.
This iconic vessel has a rich heritage and is named after the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Appalachian range. Its home port is in Yokosuka, Japan, where it continues to be a crucial asset for U.S. operations in the Pacific. The Blue Ridge has provided strategy and support for decades, keeping the fleet connected and mission-ready.
