USS St. Louis LCS-19

The USS St. Louis (LCS-19) is the seventh Navy ship named after St. Louis, Missouri, and it’s part of the Freedom-class littoral combat ships. It was launched on December 18, 2018, and commissioned on August 8, 2020.

While measuring 378.3 feet and displacing 3,500 metric tons, it’s also armed to the teeth with a BAE Systems Mk 110 57 mm gun, RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missiles, and a Honeywell MK 50 Torpedo. Finally, the St. Louis also carries two .50 cal guns, an ASuW module, two MH-60R/S Seahawks, and an MQ-8 Fire Scout, making it a versatile force ready for any coastal mission.
